Minilya River Camp (FC)

Whilst this area is technically a Rest Area, the controlling authority has permitted the use of this particular Rest Area for Overnight Stays. Time limits do apply and are stipulated in our features below, but there should also be signs available on site to indicate this.

HOW TO GET THERE
This Camp is 7.7km South of the Exmouth turnoff and 140km North of Carnarvon, just before crossing the Minilya River bridge to the Roadhouse.

FEES & BOOKINGS
There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean and tidy. 

FACILITIES
There are basic toilet facilities here as well as a Dump Point.

Using rest areas for multiple overnight stays as part of a planned itinerary is not in keeping with their intended purpose. Those needing facilities for an extended stay are encouraged to look for camping areas or caravan parks in towns along the way.
