Millicent Hillview Caravan Park is situated in the heart of the Limestone Coast region and is an ideal central base to visit Millicent and the surrounding towns of Mt Gambier, Penola and Beachport where you can enjoy rugged coastlines, vineyards, clean sandy beaches and scenic pine forest drives.

This is a friendly and peaceful park providing both powered and unpowered flat camping sites for everything from tents through to Big Rigs. There are drive-thru sites, shady sites, green grass, wind-sheltered or bushland style sites, with most having exceptional country rural views. You can enjoy a sunrise view or sit around the campfire. The park has unlimited free WiFi and is also pet friendly.

There are excellent facilities including a basketball court, 2 trampolines and a playground with a sandpit for the kids. There’s a rustic camp kitchen outside as well as a brand new inside kitchen, complete with cookers, 2 door refrigerators, BBQ’s, stoves, oven, 4 burner cooktop, kettle, toaster and microwave. There are two popular outdoor camp fire areas with one being under cover. Free chopped firewood is provided.

Other accommodation options are available including one to three room Holiday Ensuite Cabins, Park Ensuite Cabins and for the budget traveller, Park Standard Cabins. All cabins are exceptionally clean and well-appointed.

Holiday Ensuite Cabins are well equipped with new smart LCD TV’s, split system air-conditioning, queen bed, electric blanket, 2 door refrigerator and full cooking facilities.

Park Standard Cabins have partial ensuites (showers located at main amenities) and are also well equipped with LCD TV, air-conditioning, double bed, 2 door refrigerator and full cooking facilities.

Television co-axial cables are provided free of charge for sites which will enable you to use the parks antenna system if preferred. Board Games, Cards, Books and DVD’s are available to borrow at no charge from reception and Linen is available for hire if required.

Millicent is a well serviced town with Supermarkets, Butchers, Newsagent, Cafes, Restaurants and more including a Hospital for any medical needs.

HOW TO GET THERE
Millicent sits on the Princes Highway (Hwy 1) 48km north of Mount Gambier. From the south, turn right onto Dalton Street. Dalton Street is a short street that will lead straight into the parks driveway. From the north, pass through the town centre and turn left onto Dalton Street 2km after the Caltex Service Station.

THINGS TO DO
Canunda National Park, one of the largest coastal parks in South Australia, is only minutes away as are the Tantanoola Caves, often hailed as the prettiest caves in Australia.

The Lake Bonney and Canunda Wind Farm comprise the largest wind farm development in the Southern Hemisphere.

Millicent acts as a gateway to the Southern Ports, which include Southend and Beachport with Mt Gambier only a 30 min drive from the park to see the world renowned Blue Lake, Valley Lake, Umpherston Sinkhole, Cave Gardens and Engelbrecht Cave.

The Living History Museum
The largest collection of fully restored horse-drawn vehicles. Other displays include the Shipwreck Room, restored farm implements, a T-Class locomotive, a coin-operated water wheel, blacksmith’s shop and interactive drainage display.
