Mary Creek Caravan and Campground was established in the late 1970s as a caravan park for additional accommodation for workers and their families for the nearby Mount Carbine Tungsten mine. Now part of the Bustard Downs Station and accommodation complex the grounds have a park feel with established shady trees, large open grassed areas set above the Mary Creek, its source the nearby Mt. Lewis National Park. They have powered and un-powered sites suitable for tents, camper-trailers, campervans, caravans, motor homes, big rigs or throw down a swag under the stars.
