Macfarlane Station Campground is a 24,000-acre working sheep station offering unpowered sites near the watershed of the lake eyre catchment system and the Murray Darling on the other side.
There are two lovely areas to set up on this site and a shearers quarters to choose from. Toilets, showers, and cooking facilities are available at the shearers quarters 500 metres away from the house dam area.
The station is a great place to stay and relax with a marvelous view of the surrounding.

THINGS TO DO
It is a great place to see a different kinds of animals such as horses, llamas, and, sheep. The house dam when full is perfect for swimming. It is also a paradise for bird watchers as they have a variety of birdlife. Visitors may also schedule a tour of the working sheep and cattle property which is available by appointment only.
