Macas Camping Ground offers a chance to enjoy a simple camping retreat away from the everyday noise. The camp ground is set in a 300 acre wooded block which is adjacent to the Mount Jerusalem National Park, surrounded by regenerating rainforest and abundant wildlife. Macas is close to the favourite festivals (Bluesfest, Splendour in the Grass, and Mullumbimby Music Festival) with shuttle services provided as required.
With plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy, the campground offers powered and unpowered sites with access to caravans and big rigs, and if you don’t own a tent you can rent one from them. High quality amenities include showers, toilets, laundry, kitchen, refrigeration, and drinking water. They are also pet friendly – for well behaved dogs and owner managed dogs only.
HOW TO GET THERE
Take the Ocean Shores/Billinudgel exit from the Pacific Motorway and follow Wilfed Street as it turns right and becomes Brunswick Street and then The Pocket Road. Follow this until a right turn into Main Arm Road after around 11km. After 2.7km turn right into an access road and the entrance is 40m on the right.

Fee is from $30/ couple per night for ages 16 and up. Kids from 6 – 16 yrs old is $5.

Felt it was overpriced for power only. No connection to water ,
Had to go up to camp kitchen to get water.
Was very wet so had to walk though lots of water.
Understand that you cannot control the weather, but for price ( $35.00 ) for 2 persons could put in better access to amenities,.
Pretty location amoung the macadamia trees.
Loved the quirky shower block
