Great rustic bush camp experience.
Little Roper Stock Camp is located 2km from Mataranka Thermal Springs and 8km from Bitter Springs two of the Territory’s best water holes. The camp offers powered and unpowered sites with stockcamp shows and a camp oven dinner and stew/curry nights, cook-up Johnny cakes for morning smoko, and provides visitors with the opportunity to interact with our friendly Brahman cattle, buffalo, and other animals.
The pet-friendly site is accessible to motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, and big rigs with areas suitable for tents.

FEES & BOOKING
Fees are from $30/night unpowered or $40 with power. Extra adults (above 2) are $10 each. Single adults are $15 per unpowered site. Kids are free!

Facilities available are toilets, showers, drinking water, BBQ area, picnic tables, fire pits, laundry area, and trash bins.

The camp is a great place to base and explore what Mataranka and The Never Never has to offer, such as Mataranka Thermal Pools and the beautiful scenery and walks nearby National Park. Fishing and bird watching can also be added to your activities.
