Pine Rivers Showgrounds has Dump Point within the grounds, located diagonally to the right after entering through the main gates. The gates are locked at night time.
HOW TO GET THERE
Lawnton is on Old Gympie Road between Strathpine and Petrie; from the Bruce highway exit to either of these from South or North. The Showgrounds is entered at the traffic lights at Francis Road.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Dump Points are sites especially designed for Recreational Vehicles (RVs) to dispose of their waste, including Grey and Black Water, and Sewerage in an environmentally safe way.
Some Dump Points will have a hose provided for the rinsing of your holding tanks. Be mindful that these hoses may have been used to clean waste, and in no circumstances should be used to fill your drinking water tanks.
Some Dump Points also use recycled water, not intended for drinking. If drinking water is available at these sites, it should be clearly marked. If it is not marked as such, avoid using it as potable water.
