Lake Cressbrook Camp Site is located on the shores of the lake. There are more than 30 campsites – six sites are available for campers vans and caravans. All have access to bathroom amenities and barbeque facilities. No domestic animals are allowed as the area is a nominated flora and fauna reserve.
HOW TO GET THERE
From the New England highway at Crows Nest it is 18km via Perseverance Dam Road to Mount Jockey Road (12.5km) then immediately keep right, at about 4km turn right then after 1km turn left to the camping area (Boat Ramp is straight ahead).SITE ACCESS
There is some signage along the access roads as above.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Bookings are not taken but self-registration is required on entry. This includes completion of the registration form/envelope which can be found at the information booth upon entry. Please enclose the correct camping fees within the envelope as change is not available.
Fee is $8 per person per night or $32.00 per family (up to two adults and any number of children under 18yrs) per night. For more information, you may call or email via the details below.
THINGS TO DO
There are several activities to do such as fishing, boating, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing. You can also visit several Toowoomba attractions (around 60km) which include Cobb+Co Museum, DownsSteam Tourist Railway & Museum, Met Galleries, Milne Bay Military Museum, St Luke’s Anglican Church, Tosari Galleries, Kloud9ine trampoline park, Sunset Superbowl and many more.
