Trinity Plains Tourist Park is a new park located on the outskirts of Mareeba. The park offers clean facilities, spacious sites, new amenities, laundry, mini Mart, camp kitchen with free BBQs. The park is located outside town so space and beautiful views with a strong country feel are what makes this park special. Tailored to the needs of travelling nomads, the park offers great value with welcoming hosts.

The park has a happy hour and bonfire (seasonal). You can relax & unwind in this rural setting, close to town, and serves as a perfect base to explore the Tablelands. Caravan/Trailer/Motorhome storage is also available for travellers exploring Cape York.

THINGS TO DO

Mareeba is the perfect base to explore the Tablelands. It is also the gateway to Cape York, the Gulf of Carpentaria, Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef and Rainforests. Prepare for your Cape York adventure or restock and unwind on your return. The Tablelands offer many opportunities within an easy drive to explore such sites as the Emerald Creek Falls (only 10 km away), Davies Creek, Mareeba Wetlands and the Tinaroo Dam (with off road backroad tracks departing our Park). If you enjoy a culinary treat why not visit the large number of coffee venues in the area. If your preference is more adventurous activities try the Hot Air Ballooning, Segway or Ultra light flights.

There are also a number of superb wineries in the area or visit the local Emerald Creek Ice Creamery (locally made ice cream with local ingredients) or stop in at one of the many fresh fruit and produce local markets. There are also the Koala Gardens & Bird-world at Kuranda (10% discount available, Koala feed grown on our property), Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures (10% discount available) and the Mareeba Heritage Museum (free entry, tobacco growing and farming history) If you are looking for a bit more in physical activity we have the following in the area too: Lawn Bowls, Golf, Tennis, Swimming Pool, Several Gyms, Horse Racing Club, Pony Club and the Mareeba Rifle & Pistol Club (and Shooting Complex). There are many events and activities in and around Mareeba, so ask at our reception for more information.
