THINGS TO DO
Darwin and its surroundings have something to suit all tastes and budgets. If your pleasures are outdoor there is so much to do and see including the Wetland cruises, crocodile jumping, bird watching, sunset harbour cruise fishing charters, land-based, and jetty fishing. Or take a leisurely drive to Waterfalls, swimming holes, or do some 4WD driving. Darwin is also steeped in history with its many historical sites from WWII and Cyclone Tracy. There is an array of museums, art galleries, and exhibits available as well. Darwin has rich cultural diversity meaning there is a huge variety of culinary pleasures to enjoy in our local cafes and restaurants. For those wanting to be a bit more active, Darwin has numerous golf courses, lawn bowling arenas, and sports stadiums. Darwin also hosts the V8 Supercars race at Hidden Valley and a Horse Racing Cup Carnival during the dry season.
