QUIET, PEACEFUL PARK ON 200 ACRES

Barambah Bush Caravan and Camping Park is located five minutes from the town of Murgon, in the South Burnett region. Our park is on 200 acres with 40 acres of Parkland and 160 acres of natural bushland. We are three hours from Brisbane, 2 hours from the Sunshine Coast and the Fraser Coast, and in the heart of the Barambah Wine Trail. Whether you visit for a night or stay awhile, the peace and tranquility of our beautiful park will soon have you relaxing as you admire the many species of birds, wildlife, our Resident free-range Hens, Ducks, Peacocks, and our pet kangaroo. Bird Feeding is between 4pm and 4.15pm every day. Enjoy our quiet natural surroundings and peaceful atmosphere while sitting around a fire with a glass of our local wines. Enjoy a camp oven cook-up or join us on Friday Nights for live entertainment and a meal around the Camp Fire. Come and play on our 9-hole Bush Golf Course or take a walk on one of our five Bush Walking Tracks.

We have well-appointed air-conditioned Cabins, Clean spacious Amenities, Camp Kitchen and coin-operated Laundry, Powered and Unpowered Sites, shady Tent Sites, Firewood is available, and we have designated Camp Fire Areas throughout the Park. Free Gas BBQs are available or use our wood-fired barbecue. We are Pet Friendly on Sites. THINGS TO DO
Murgon’s CBD has undergone extensive beautification in recent years and is also the location of the Murgon Visitor Information Centre. We have four Wineries within 10 minutes of the Park where you can sample the beautiful South Burnett Wines on offer, enjoy a delicious lunch and make purchases from the Cellar Doors. The Dairy Museum is a must-see and is only a five-minute drive from us. You can also visit the Ration Shed Museum that takes you through the History of the Aboriginal Settlement in the area and is run by Traditional Elders, or why not visit our local Olive Plantation. You can enjoy freshwater fishing at Bjelke Petersen Dam, 10 minutes away, and Boondooma Dam, an hour away.

Browse the antique shops in nearby Goomeri or visit the town’s Pumpkin Festival held annually in May. There is also a Timber Museum, Heritage Museum, and Art Gallery in nearby Wondai, and a lavender Farm in Kingaroy. If you are looking for something more active, have some fun kayaking, skiing, or fishing in Barambah Creek or Bjelke Petersen Dam.

Lovely park in a bush setting, with marked bushwalks and a golf course. The amenities are spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. Handy to Murgon and BP Dam. Highly recommended.
