Kinkuna Section Bush Camping – Burrum Coast National Park (CG)

Looking for a camp that is just a short stroll to the beach?

Kinkuna Section bush camping is one of the campsites in Burrum Coast National Park. Enjoy access to the water and beach activities. Camping is permitted behind fragile foredunes, just a short walk to the water and beach. It is not recommended for low clearance trailers, caravans, or buses. During wet conditions, access roads may be closed as they pass through low-lying, swampy areas. Use only established access points across the dunes to reach the beach.
The number of sites: 40 (not individually numbered).
Campsites are suitable for Tent camping beside your car.
Campsite surfaces: Sand.

SITE ACCESS
12.6km from Woodgate Road. The camping area can be reached by 4WD vehicle only.

Please note: GPS Coordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park, there should be signs to the actual campgrounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
Fees for camping permits are:
$6.85 per person per night, or $27.40 per family per night.
$3.75 per person per night for students and accompanying adults on approved educational excursions.
FAMILY RATE. For camping fees, a family group is defined as one or two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of 8 people. Children under 5 years of age are free. Read more about CAMPING COSTS & BOOKINGS

FACILITIES
There are no facilities at Kinkuna.

RULES
Keep to defined vehicle tracks and walking trails.
Camp in designated areas to avoid damage to fragile vegetation.
Take rubbish home with you – if you carry it in, carry it out
