Keetah Border Crossing is one of six fishing and camping reserves along the border rivers to the East of Goondiwindi. This is on the Dumaresq River 54km from Goondiwindi.
HOW TO GET THERE
At the Cunningham Highway/Marshall St/Kildonan Rd roundabout in Goondiwindi, take the Kildonan Rd exit to Yelarbon then at 52km from the roundabout turn right into Keetah Road, after 1.6km cross the bridge and the campground is on the right on the New South Wales side.
SITE ACCESS
Definitely dry weather only, there are several tracks and camping spots within a fenced reserve area
FEES & BOOKINGS
There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean, and please visit and support the local community.
FACILITIES
There are no facilities at this location so please take your waste away with you. The council does periodically mow some grassed areas to make a better area for campers.
RULES.
* A NSW Fishing Licence is required to fish any of the Qld / NSW Border Rivers, even if fishing from a boat or from the Qld shore line. This includes some or all of the Macintyre, Dumaresq & Barwon Rivers.
Murray Cod must not be taken from the Border Rivers between 1 September and 30 November each year.
