You’ll find the Kapunda Visitor Information Centre in the same building as the local library, art gallery and craft shop. All three are in a heritage listed building in the centre of this old mining town. You can buy local souvenirs. Friendly staff at the centre can assist with local and regional queries. The centre stocks a range of tourism brochures and books and has the popular “Taste of the Region” interpretive display.
Visitor Information Centres will help you make the most of your time in the Barossa. Whether you need directions, suggestions or local knowledge, drop in and say “hi”. Just look for the blue sign with a yellow “i” on it. There are three centres in the Barossa – at Tanunda, Gawler and Kapunda and all are open seven days.
