Kangaroo Island Queensland, a 166 hectares nature island, is 30 minutes boat drive from River Heads and close to the famous World Heritage-listed Fraser Island,the world’s largest sand island. It is only 10 minutes to the open ocean and another hour or so to the Great Barrier Reef. The island which has superior location and beautiful landscaping is under construction at the moment. We are dedicated to make it to be a high end private resort with top nature experiences, which will impress you with its range of opportunities to connect with nature and discover the benefits of getting out of the city and off the beaten track.

Kangaroo island Queensland has diverse wildlife on it. Wild pigs, kangaroos, goats, pheasants, birds reside on the island, which makes it to be a paradise of the hunting-lovers. Fishing and crabbing lovers rejoice, as the brackish waters of the Mary river would be yours to navigate, throw a line in and enjoy the happiness of fishing! You can also have bush camping and explore the island in your way.

We are currently looking for up to 10 volunteers with experience driving boats, tractors, pozzitrack, excavator or mechanical repairs, or landscaping background to assist in development of the Island while spending holidays for once in a lifetime opportunity! Housing in the form of caravan, pop-up tent trailer, bush camping , or staying in the new house. Food and supplies may be delivered weekly via our barge, and electricity from our off-grid solar battery system. The volunteers must have own boat for fishing and water entertainment.
