Bendalong Point Tourist Park is one of twelve unique parks that make up the Holiday Haven Tourist Parks group of caravan parks, ocated in the Shoalhaven area on the NSW South Coast. Spanning from Kiama to Batemans Bay.
Bendalong Point Tourist Park is an ideal location to escape it all and get back to nature or enjoy a traditional holiday. It’s a paradise for anyone looking to relax, bushwalk, swim, fish or surf. The park is nestled amongst tall eucalypt trees and offers a full range of accommodation options for campers.
Various powered sites are dotted throughout the 40-acre park, some grassed, others with a slab or in a bush setting. The powered en-suite sites have private facilities with a shower, toilet and vanity and they are suitable for all forms of camping or caravanning. They are grassy and level and all within close proximity to public amenities and direct access to the beaches.
Located on the headland is approximately 15 acres of unmapped, unallocated sites to choose from, all with spectacular ocean views facing north, west & south. There is direct access to all beaches at various points throughout the park.
An extensive range of fully self-contained cabins are also available should you wish to have a break from the van and stretch out, or if you are looking to meet up with family or friends who might not have a caravan.
The park provides excellent and very well maintained facilities as indicated in below and the kids are well catered for too. The wide open spaces and the selection of recreational facilities such as kid’s playground, splash pad, jumping pillow, and a volleyball court will ensure the kids will have a great time.
If you have a boat, there is a boat ramp located adjacent to the park on the northern side of the headland and boat washing facilities are located in the park for your convenience. Bendalong Point is also home to families of kangaroos, possums and native birds including rosellas and kookaburras. You can also meet the stingrays when they come in to feed at the boat ramp as the fisherman return.
HOW TO GET THERE
Easiest access to Bendalong Point is via Bendalong Road which runs straight off the Princess Highway approximately 4km north of the small township of Fisherman’s Paradise. Follow Bendalong Road and in approximately 25km you will come into town. At this point it changes to Wattle Street, follow this for another 900m and you will see the entrance straight ahead.
SITE ACCESS
The entrance is clearly marked and is nice and wide. It is directly off a sealed level road. Make your way to the reception area where you can pull over in the marked bays and let them know you have arrived.
