Ardrossan is a small town only 150km from Adelaide with a daily bus service to and from the city. It has a temperate climate with regular sea breezes, so it is usually a few degrees cooler than Adelaide. The Highview Holiday Village is under new management and is an ideal spot to stay if you wish to explore the area.

Highview Holiday Village is perfect for families and travellers of all ages, catering for long stays or weekend getaways with a range of accommodation from camping and caravan sites to a choice of fully self-contained Holiday Units and Family Cabins.

Set on 8 acres of tree-studded landscaped grounds, Highview can accommodate any size caravan, motorhome, camper trailer or tent, with all of the powered sites having their own en-suite. This quiet and peaceful parks sits adjacent to Ardrossan Golf Course and offers a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of shady places to park up.

The park is well appointed with many facilities including a tennis court and its own boat ramp which gives the serious angler access to Snapper, Salmon and Shark as well as many other species. There is also an area for the cooking and cleaning of your catch.

HOW TO GET THERE
Enter Ardrossan on Yorke Highway from the north and turn left into Highview Road just past Coast Road Motors/Yamaha. The Park is 300m on the left in Highview Road.

SITE ACCESS
Turn in at the park sign and you will see the signs showing where to park while you check in at reception.

THINGS TO DO
An easy 90-minute drive from Adelaide on the east coast of Yorke Peninsula, Ardrossan sits on top of imposing red cliffs providing excellent views of Gulf St Vincent. Wander down the jetty at sunrise to see the cliffs’ amazing display of colour in the morning light.

If Blue Swimmer Crabs are your favourite, then this is the place to be; drop a net from the jetty or rake in the shallows and you won’t be disappointed. Fishing from the jetty or boat will often return you a catch of Tommy Ruffs, Mullet, Garfish, squid or the prized King George Whiting.
