Looking for a camp on the banks of the Clyde River?

Hamilton Campground has a good range of facilities provided by the Central Highlands Council. It is a small area on the banks of the Clyde River; Hamilton has no retail shopping but does have a Cafe and the Hamilton Inn, both with restricted trading hours. Adjacent to the campground is a walking trail along the Clyde River where Platypus can be seen.

Nice flat little camping area. It is a creek not a river. Not a lot of water and not that clean. Poor access to the creek. Everything closed in town st 4.00pm or it seemed that way and it was Friday night
