Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park with its breathtaking views of the mountains and an abundance of Australian Wildlife is the perfect place to base yourself if you’re wanting to explore the Grampians. The stunning surrounds of the Grampians National Park, its quiet location and friendly and relaxing atmosphere means you can enjoy a bush camp experience with all the modern facilities. Offering spacious grassy powered and unpowered sites suitable for tents through to large caravans and motorhomes, the park also has a wide variety of cabin accommodation available.The camp kitchen, BBQ, Kiosk, laundry and private bathrooms are only some of what the park has to offer.

Kids will enjoy the playground and are sure to burn up some energy jumping on one of the eight spring free trampolines in the park. Take a dip in the wood fire heated outdoor pool that runs at 30 degrees in summer and 34 degrees in winter. At night sit around a campfire, at Halls Gap lakeside they will deliver the fire drum and wood to your site or cabin for a minimal fee or mingle with fellow campers as you enjoy happy hour in the cosy camp lounge with leather couches. Simply relax while you reflect on the day at the open log fire that is lit for you each night.

Halls Gap is the perfect place to stay with beautiful waterways, waterfalls, stunning views and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. This is a great place to catch up with family and friends who aren’t caravanners as the parks also offer cabins that sleep between 2 and 14 guests.

From Adelaide
Take National Highway A8 and Western Hwy/A8 to Mt Drummond Road in Ledcourt. Continue on Mt Drummond Road. Take Greenhole Road and Fyans Creek Road to Grampians Road/C216 in Halls Gap

From Port Campbell
Head south-east on Smokey Point Road towards Cobden-Port Campbell Road/C164. Take C162, C163 and Glenfyne-Brucknell Road to Timboon-Terang Road in Ecklin South. Turn right onto Timboon-Terang Road, follow C156 and Hamilton Highway/B140 to Hexham-Chatsworth Road in Hexham. Follow Hexham-Chatsworth Road, Hamilton-Chatsworth Road and Caramut-Glenthompson Road to Cameron Street/Pyrenees Highway/B180 in Glenthompson. Continue onto Cameron Street/Pyrenees Highway/B180. Follow Toora Road and Yarram Gap Road to Grampians Road/C216 in Mafeking. Turn right onto Grampians Road/C216.

From Melbourne
Follow National Highway M8 and A8 to Barkly Street/C222 in Ararat. Follow C222 to Grampians Road/C216 in Halls Gap

THINGS TO DO
Get mesmerised by the behaviour of the kangaroos and cockatoos as the park is adjacent to a big valley which the kangaroos call home. Emus visit the park on a regular basis and you may be lucky to see deer and the occasional echidna.

The Halls Gap Zoo is a fantastic family day out. You will be amazed by the varying species of mammals, birds and reptiles kept at the largest regional zoo in Victoria.

Explore the Grampians and experience the beauty of the Australian native landscape. Outdoor enthusiasts will love abseiling, rock climbing, bush walking and cycling, whilst nature lovers are awestruck by the wild life, native plants and delicate wildflowers. The region’s fascinating aboriginal history is told through ancient rock art.
