Greenhills Caravan Park at Murwillumbah has beautiful lush landscaped grounds with many trees, shrubs, and garden areas, the park is set back from the Tweed Valley Way for a peaceful night’s sleep and has rural vistas across cane fields, bush, and pasture. An abundance of wildlife including birds and water dragons share the caravan park.

The park has 48 powered sites both concrete slab and grass sites. Some sites can be accessed as drive-through sites. Concrete slab sites include coax TV arial connection. Long-stay and storage sites are available. Tent sites are throughout the park-like grounds of the caravan park, and many shade trees to choose from. A camp BBQ is available and several areas of the park have private rural views.

HOW TO GET THERE
From the south, follow the Pacific Highway northbound to the junction with the Tweed Valley way and signs for Murwillumbah. Stay on the Tweed Valley Way past the turn-off for the town center. The caravan park is about 1.3km further on the left-hand side adjacent to the Fruit and Veg shop.

From the north, follow the Pacific Highway southbound take the turn off after Tweed Heads for Tweed Valley Way and Murwillumbah. Stay on the Tweed Valley Way avoiding the turn off for the town, about 1.3km after the town turn-off the caravan park is on the left adjacent to a fruit and veg shop.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Booking is not necessary.
The fee is from $25/ couple per night for unpowered sites and $30/ couple for powered sites. Extra-person is $10/ person. Children under 5 are free.

THINGS TO DO
Local Farmers Market
Each Wednesday from 7 am to 11 am on the grounds are held the Local Farmers Markets with a variety of local produce.

Tweed Regional Gallery
Surrounded by beautiful gardens and lawns and offering panoramic views of the Tweed River, the Tweed Regional Gallery is the perfect place to visit to view first-rate exhibitions. Also whilst here you can visit the “World Renowned Margaret Olley Centre”.

Wollumbin-Mount Warning National Park
This park protects the mountain summit of Wollumbin-Mount Warning, an iconic landmark of the Northern Rivers region. Wollumbin National Park includes the former Mount Warning National Park (both parks were combined in August 2009).

Natural Bridge
Located in the Springbrook National Park a Natural Bridge rock formation formed by the force of the waterfall over the erosive basalt cave.

Tweed Regional Museum
Established in 2004 with the uniting of the three local historical societies, Tweed Regional Museum (TRM) is one museum in three special locations; Tweed Heads, Murwillumbah, and Uki.

Red Rattlers Gallery
A great place to find unique gifts, local art, and craft, stained glass, and enjoy coffee and cake while enjoying the unique setting at Red Rattlers Gallery. Two original 1928 Red Rattler train carriages are set within the picturesque Tweed Valley and are restored to their former glory with renovations to include a gallery space and refreshment area. The gallery is located in the Tweed hinterland at Dungay five minutes northwest of Murwillumbah.

The Sauce Studio
The Sauce Studio is the latest venture for artist, Sauce, who has spent the past twenty years developing his mural and graffiti art skills.

Clarrie Hall Dam
Heading west of Murwillumbah, through Uki, and turning south on the Doon Doon Road, takes you to the Clarrie Hall Dam. Built on Doon Doon Creek, a tributary of the Tweed River, Clarrie Hall Dam has a storage capacity of 16,000 mega-litres of water and the primary function of the dam is to provide storage for Tweed Shire’s water supply. Activities permitted on Clarrie Hall Dam include canoeing, boating (electric motor, sail, or paddle power only), and fishing.
