Goshen Station is a working cattle station not far from Blencoe Falls in the wet tropics of North Queensland. It is about 5.5 hours from Cairns (90 kms past Mount Garnet) west of Blencoe Falls. The cost is $50 access fee and $20 per night. There are Campsites along the beautiful Herbert River, with freshwater crocodiles but safe to swim. The campsites at Goshen Station are quite far apart, with approximately 17 sites spread about the station, giving you plenty of privacy.
No facilities, bookings are essential and you drop into the station homestead upon arrival where you are issued with a key.
No facilities mean no showers or toilets which means that this place has an amazing sense of freedom for those who enjoy camping out under the stars! You can bring your own food and drink or buy some supplies before arriving at Goshen Station so there’s no need to worry if you forget something important like water or snacks! This place will make any nature lover feel like they’ve truly escaped into another world…a world full of adventure and beauty!
