The new Gnaala Mia campground in Dryandra Woodland has a range of camp sites suitable for tents through to larger caravans. The sites are carefully nestled in the forest at least 20 metres apart for a more private forest experience.

Gnaala Mia offers 27 caravan bays and eight tent sites across two separate loops. Camping fees apply.

SITE ACCESS
26km north of Williams via Williams to York Road.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Fees are from $11/adult per night, $7/concession card holder per night, $3/child per night (over 5 and under 16 years)

No bookings, this Park has a site entry or Ranger station, payment in cash may be required.

The campground is very popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable site available.

We cannot give any guarantee of availability of camp sites and we cannot respond to enquiries for specific availability information.

FACILITIES
Gnaala Mia offers 27 caravan bays and eight tent sites across two separate loops. Camping fees apply.

Facilities available are barbecue shelters, toilets, gas barbecues and each campsite has a picnic table, log benches and an open fire pit. Fire wood is provided. Fires are not permitted between the dates stated at the campsite.

There are water tanks attached to the barbecue shelters but water availability and quality cannot be guaranteed. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own water.

THINGS TO DO
Dryandra is an especially scenic area with magnificent woodlands and spectacular wildflowers in spring. A series of walk and cycle trails caters for all fitness levels, from 1km to 27km, and there is a popular radio drive trail, known as ‘Sounds of Dryandra Woodland’. One of the most interesting walks is the Ochre Trail, which describes some of the modern and ancient Nyoongar culture of the Dryandra area and features an ochre pit used by Aboriginal people for decoration. The Barna Mia Animal Sanctuary, located in the heart of the Dryandra Woodlands, enables visitors to observe five threatened species and two conservation-dependant species at close range.

GUIDELINES
Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.
Campers’ own liquid or gas fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared (see Department of Fire and Emergency Services).
Campers’ are encouraged to follow the simple principles of Leave No Trace to minimise the environmental impact of their visit.
Very few campgrounds have waste bins – take all waste with you when you leave.
