Free relaxing campground
Gil Weir Camping is located on Dogwood Creek south of Miles township offering free campground with a maximum stay of 4 days. The pet-friendly site is accessible to motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, and big rigs with areas suitable for tents.
There are plenty of spots for camping upstream from the weir. Shady spots are plentiful from the pines and gums. A boat ramp is there and it is pet friendly.
HOW TO GET THERE
Head South from Miles on the Leichardt Highway and after 4km turn right into Gil Weir Road, after 1km keep left and the camping area is on the right

There is no charge for using this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean and tidy.
