Stop at the Gawler Visitor Information Centre on your way into the Barossa. It’s on a state bus route from Adelaide and also has easy car parking. The centre has about 2,500 visitors every month. The staff are locals and know everything about the area. They’re more than happy to assist with any enquiry.
Visitor Information Centres will help you make the most of your time in the Barossa. Whether you need directions, suggestions or local knowledge, drop in and say “hi”. Just look for the blue sign with a yellow “i” on it. There are three centres in the Barossa – at Tanunda, Gawler and Kapunda and all are open seven days.
