Futter Creek Rest Area (FC)

Futter Creek Camping Reserve is a low maintenance spacious rest area located on the Gladstone-Monto Road, approximately 20km south of Calliope and is maintained by Gladstone Regional Council.

HOW TO GET THERE
The campground is 22km South of the Gladstone-Monto Road and Bruce Highway intersection; or 116km North of Monto along the Gladstone-Monto Road. Please note this road is suitable for caravans 40km North of Monto.

Directly off the road on the Western side South of the bridge over Futter Creek

FEES & BOOKINGS
As this is a free site, we encourage you to keep it clean and visit and support the local communities. 

FACILITIES
This site has Eco Toilets only and facilities as below.
There are no longer rubbish bins here so pleae take your rubbish with you.

RULES
Whilst this area is technically a Rest Area, the Gladstone Regional Council has permitted the use of this particular Rest Area for camping. Time limits do apply of 72 hours at this location, but there should also be signs available on site to indicate this.

Please note: Rest areas are not designed to be camping grounds or caravan parks. Using rest areas for multiple overnight stays as part of a planned itinerary is not in keeping with their intended purpose, unless clearly indicated. Those needing facilities for an extended stay are encouraged to look for camping areas or caravan parks in towns along the way.
