Frog Buttress camping area is a small camping area is set in open eucalypt forest with grassy understorey close to all walking tracks. Book sites well in advacne for Easter, June/July and September holiday periods. The camping area can be reached on foot only.
Number of sites: 14 sites (separate but not numbered). Maximum of 30 people in the camping area.
Camp sites are suitable for: walk-in camping.
Camp site surface: Sawdust/crusher dust mix.

SITE ACCESS
100 m from the car park and to the right and east of the toilets. Follow the signs.
These peaks are all near Lake Moogerah and accessible from the Cunningham Highway about 100 km from Brisbane.
Mount French is 9 km west of the sign-posted turnoff just south of Boonah. Mount Edwards is east of the Cunningham Highway 9 km south of Aratula. Mount Greville is 25 km south-west of Boonah via the Mt Alford Road or 11 km south of Lake Moogerah.
Mount Moon is surrounded by private property and access must be arranged with the respective landholders.

Please note: GPS Coordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite. Advance bookings are necessary. The number of camping permits issued is limited to help protect the park from degradation.
Fees for camping permits are:
$5.75 per person per night or $23.00 per family group per night.
$3.20 per person per night for students and accompanying adults on approved excursions.
FAMILY RATE. For camping fees, a family group is defined as one or two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of 8 people. Children under 5 years of age are free.

FACILITIES
Flushing toilets, picnic tables, wood barbecues, limited firewood supplied.toilets and day-use area.

RULES
Keep to defined vehicle tracks and walking trails.
Camp in designated areas to avoid damage to fragile vegetation.
Take rubbish home with you – if you carry it in, carry it out.
