Flinders Bush Retreats – Willow Waters Gorge Bush Camping (CG)

Situated 21km South East of Hawker, Willow Waters Gorge is a great destination for camping, picnics, bushwalking or just relaxing and getting back to nature.

Your hosts, the McInnis family, are 5th generation sheep graziers and kindly open their 11,000 acre backyard to share with you.

The beautiful tree lined Willow Creek, with a natural spring, curves its way through mountainous ranges that attract kangaroos, emus, reptiles, and a large range of native birdlife – Keep an eye out for the resident wedge tail eagles!

Beat the crowded campsites and explore the Flinders Ranges in its natural beauty. Campsites are available in designated spots in Willow Waters Gorge, limiting the number of campers at any one time. Caravans, camper trailers, and tents are welcome and sites are allocated depending on your size requirements. Your campsite is booked exclusively for you – no shared sites. Please ensure you book ahead to avoid disappointment.

SITE ACCESS
Whilst in the town of Hawker, SA head east onto Cradock Road.  Turn left onto Willow Waters Road.  Drive about 5k and you will find Flinders Bush Retreats on the left.

Fee is from $10/vehicle per night.

THINGS TO DO
This a wildlife lover’s dream.  Native birds galore, kangaroos and emus plentiful and our sheep and cattle casually roam the property.  If you are after a true bush camping experience, this is the place to be.
