Camp beside Fletcher Creek.
Fletcher Creek Rest Area is located 45km north of Charters Towers near the entrance to Dalrymple National Park. The site has access via Gregory Developmental Road and is enhanced by having additional areas on the Southern bank and is very popular with travelers. The pet-friendly site has basic facilities and can be accessed by motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, and big rigs with areas suitable for tents. On the Northern side is a small toilet and Dump Point.
HOW TO GET THERE
This site is 42km North of Charters Towers on the Gregory Highway, on both sides of the road.
SITE ACCESS
There are three areas: North of the Creek, Eastern side, toilets, and DP here. South of Creek, Eastern side opens a grassed area, minimum other facilities, South of Creek, Western side, grass area, picnic tables, shade trees.

There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean and tidy.
FACILITIES
There are toilets and cold showers at this location, also a BBQ area and a dump point.
