Flaggy Rock Community Centre is situated adjacent to the Bruce Highway approximately 1.5 hours South of Mackay.
There are 6 acres of flat to undulating well maintained lawns suitable for tent campers through to big rigs. Some shade available and campers can use all the facilities including the pool. (Closed Thursday).
This is a community run campground with onsite caretakers. Arrive early as gates are locked at 6pm.
Locally made produce is available for purchase such as honey, jam and chutney to name a few.
HOW TO GET THERE
From Clairview head north on the Bruce Highway for 9.4km then turn right onto Flaggy Rock Road; after 800m turn left and continue into the Centre.
SITE ACCESS
Turn it at the signed gate and follow to the stop sign. If caretaker is not around please contact the caretaker on the number is on the sign.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Fee is $15/night per vehicle.
Cash only no Eftpos available.
