Fernhook Falls campground features 7 camp sites nestled into the jarrah forest near the Deep River which can accommodate tents, small campervans and camper trailers. Caravans and large campervans are not permitted. There are also two small huts which are occupied on a first in, first serve basis. Due to their popularity, please limit your stay to a maximum of three nights.
SITE ACCESS
35km NW of Walpole via South Western Highway and Beardmore Road or North Walpole Road and Beardmore Road.
Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions

Fees are from $11/adult per night, $7/concession card holder per night, $3/child per night (over 5 and under 16 years)

No bookings, this Park has a site entry or Ranger station, payment in cash may be required.
The campground is very popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable site available.
FACILITIES
Fernhook Falls campground has a camp kitchen with gas barbecues, picnic tables, toilets and wood barbecues. There is also a canoe launch located nearby at Rowell’s Pool.
THINGS TO DO
A walk trail can be accessed from the campground which allows visitors to view Fernhook Falls and access Rowell’s Pool.
GUIDELINES
Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.
Very few campgrounds have waste bins – take all waste with you when you leave.
