Pine Country Caravan Park is the ideal spot to base yourself while you explore and discover the magnificent Limestone Coast Region. Pine Country is only 4km from Mount Gambier which is well known for its spectacular geographical surroundings of volcanic craters, sinkholes, limestone caves and the world renowned Blue Lake. Considered to be the most unique and breathtaking attraction in the area and the regions most visited tourist spot, the Blue Lake is only one kilometre from the park.
The quiet and peaceful country park set in a beautiful natural bush setting has a variety of accommodation options for the budget conscious traveller and is the perfect place to relax and unwind after spending the day sightseeing the many attractions and wonders of the area. Your friendly hosts Nathan Seal and Emma Vorwerk, offer powered and unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes, with six ensuite sites also available for those who want that extra bit of comfort and convenience.
Our powered and ensuite sites are grassed and drive-through for those who want to stay hitched and can easily accommodate the larger RV. All of our camping sites are pet friendly and Nathan and Emma provide your furry friends with a one acre paddock so they can enjoy running around and exercising, off leash.
We also have 2 dog friendly cabins available for those who wish for a little more comfort.
The well facilitated park provides clean amenities, a fully equipped laundry, children’s playground, jumping pillow, camp kitchen, outside undercover BBQ’s, firepits for hire and well-maintained grounds to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
If you are wanting a night out of the van or to catch up with family and friends who aren’t the avid camper, Pine Country can help with a range of 1 & 2 bedroom ensuite cabins.

Fee is from $27/night for unpowered sites, $36/night for powered sites and from $48/night for a powered ensuite sites.
1 Bedroom ensuite cabins from $110.00/night, 2 Bedroom ensuite cabins from $120.00/night. Glamping Tents (Couples ONLY), $170.00/night, Family Glamping Tents $215.00/night maximum of 4 people.

THINGS TO DO
The Blue Lake
A sealed road takes you all around the perimeter; stop at the lookouts for panoramic views and marvel at its mysterious colour change in warmer weather.
Valley Lake & Centenary Tower
Drive down into the Valley Lake area and enjoy the free Wildlife Conservation Park, with koalas and kangaroos. The magnificent view is worth the short, steep walk from the car park to the highest point in the area, Centenary Tower.
Umpherston Sinkhole
The beauty of the Umpherston Sinkhole, also known as the sunken gardens, has to be seen to be believed. Appreciate its size and depth from the viewing platforms at the top of the sinkhole, then walk down into the sinkhole along the terraces and behind the hanging vines.
Engelbrecht Cave
A unique cave close to the centre of Mount Gambier. Take a tour to discover why cave divers swim through the water filled passages under the streets and roads of the city.
Cave Garden
Beautiful roses are a stunning feature of the famous Cave Garden, a state heritage area, in the centre of Mount Gambier.
The Main Corner and Riddoch Art Gallery
The Main Corner and Riddoch Art Gallery emerges from the historic dolomite building, connecting Mount Gambier’s history, with interactive displays that will appeal to adults and children alike.
Volcano & Sound and Light Exhibits
This big screen cinematic experience wows the senses as it weaves its way through its incredible story of how eight major eruptions created Mount Gambier.
Mount Gambier Library
