An idyllic stay in beautiful Port Fairy…
Nestled beside the picturesque Botanic Gardens on the banks of the Moyne River and just a stone’s throw from the ever-popular East Beach, a tranquil break is awaiting you at the Gardens Caravan Park.
Ideal for the whole family with grassy open spaces surrounded by the iconic Norfolk pine trees, this caravan park is perfectly located to ensure that the whole family enjoys the variety of attractions that Port Fairy offers its guests.
Smell the sea air and enjoy the natural open spaces from the deck of a self-contained cabin, or choose one of the spacious, grassed camping sites for the duration of your stay.
Just 600 metres from the Port Fairy town centre, this dog-friendly caravan park is ideally situated for all of your holiday activities. Gather your group large or small, and relax and recharge in these idyllic surroundings.
The sites are large, grassy and level, with a choice of shaded or open positions, powered or unpowered, and with enough space for everything from tents to big rigs to set-up in comfort. There is a complete range of amenities available, all of which are clean and modern, and you also have the option to stay in one of the many cosy, comfortable on-site cabins if you prefer. Well behaved pets are welcome at the park, even in some of the cabins – just be sure to book and confirm first.
The botanic gardens are adjacent to the park and it is also only a short walk to the township of Port Fairy, which has both a rich history and a vibrant present. All facilities of a major town centre can be found here, as well as an active arts and epicurean culture. There is a busy fishing port supplying seafood to much of Victoria and Australia as well as the many local establishments. The rich volcanic soils of the area provide for excellent produce also, so you will be able to secure good supplies all year round while you are here and to take with you to the next destination.
The park lies on the narrow strip between the Moyne River and the ocean, so all the water activities are available close-by, such as fishing, boating and swimming. There are numerous opportunities in the area for bushwalking as well as exploring the fascinating history of the town and surrounds.
