Evening Star Tourist Park is located on Thurlby Station 8km west of Charleville in the heart of Outback Queensland. Thurlby Station is a 33,000 acre working cattle station owned and operated by Col & Kristy Cornford.
Our landscape offers a unique diversity ranging from Mulga lands, Sandalwood ridges and the Ward River flood plain; here you will find an abundance of birdlife, native flora and fauna.
We offer large luxurious powered sites with all the park facilities for the modern day traveller set in established gardens throughout the park. A large campground is included in our park which is ideal for groups.
If caravanning or camping is not your thing you can also relax and unwind in our cabin nestled in the Mulga and experience all that Evening Star Tourist Park has to offer.
Outback Queensland is one of the best places in the southern hemisphere to observe the night sky, and we love showing off our amazing sunsets and our clear starry nights.
We are pet friendly and your pets are welcome.
We are 8km west of Charleville on the Adavale Road.
Access is via a sealed bitumen road & built up gravel into the park.
Look for the painted caravan at our entrance.
