There are a total of 7 sites at this location. The location is suitable for Caravans, Camper Trailers, Camping beside my vehicle, and Tents.
Emu Lake campground makes a beautiful base for exploring Kinchega National Park. Close to the facilities at the Shearers’ Quarters where there are hot showers and bore water and amid the stunning colours of the sandy plains, you’ll have a true bush adventure. Spot emus, visit the historic Kinchega Woolshed and take a thousand snaps of the sunsets and birdlife.
SITE ACCESS
Unsealed road/trail – 2WD vehicles – Dry weather only..
On entering Kinchega National Park take Woolshed Drive to Emu Lake campground.
Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping $5 per adult per night. $3 per child per night. Other Annual pass or daily vehicle entry fee of $7 also required

Drinking water is not available in this park so it’s a good idea to bring your own.
The weather in this area can be very hot in the summer months; please ensure you are well prepared for your visit.
Check the weather before you set out as roads in Kinchega National Park can be closed in heavy rain.
Water is not available at this campground so you’ll need to bring your own supply.
Bore water is available at the Shearers’ Quarters nearby.
