Drovers Camp is a hidden gem, set on a privately owned 120-acre cattle and sheep farm just 3klm from Branxton in the beautiful and picturesque Hunter Valley. The campground is perfectly situated and the ideal place to stay while you explore the wineries, attractions, and the countryside of the Hunter Valley region.

Drovers Camp offers pet-friendly, unpowered, and powered (limited) sites that are best suited to those who are fully self-sufficient. The campground does have flushing toilets available for campers to use but there are no showers and you must bring your own water. The large sites, including some down by the creek, are flat and grassy and cater for camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes, and big rigs.

There are different areas to set up camp which are currently being limited to ensure you plenty of room and privacy. All of the camping areas are within 150 metres of the toilets. There is plenty of shade available or sun for those who want to make use of their solar. Campfires are permitted and you can collect your wood from around the property.

Drovers Camp is only in its infancy but the rave reviews, returning visitors, and word of mouth, have made it necessary to call ahead and book prior to coming. As a private property, this also allows someone to meet you and advise you on the different camping areas available.

Host Neil and Kathy look forward to welcoming all Free Range Camping members to their slice of paradise. Guests can look forward to a warm country welcome on arrival as well as a small complimentary food pack from homemade Soup and Damper to delicious homemade sausages.
