HOW TO GET THERE
From Hobart or from the North travel along Brooker Highway (A1) between the city and  bridgewater. At the junction with B35, next to the Derwent Entertainment Centre and Racecourse, turn onto the B35 (Risdon) and cross the Derwent River.  Follow the road round to the right and continue along the East Derwent Highway to a roundabout (Risdon Prison is ahead) and turn right.  The entrance to the Park is 200m on the right.

SITE ACCESS
Drive into the entry drive and keep left.

THINGS TO DO
Stay at the holiday park on a Saturday to experience Salamanca Markets. Discover their convict past at historic Port Arthur. Head to Richmond and tick Australia’s oldest convict bridge, gaol, Catholic Church and post office off your ‘must-see’ list. Visit Bruny Island (just 90 minutes away) for an eco-adventure cruise, or drive the spectacular Huon Trail, covering coastline, farmland, vineyards and rugged wilderness.
