Derby Camping Ground is a popular riverside camp ground in the historic town of Derby. It is a free camping area with a maximum of 7 days stay, donation towards the maintenance of the park is greatly appreciated.

HOW TO GET THERE
It is located 32km East of Scottsdale on the Tasman Highway (A3). The site is on the left.

SITE ACCESS
Along Tasman Highway, you’ll see their signpost and right beside it is the road leading to the camping ground.

FEES & BOOKINGS
There are no costs to stay at this site, however, they would appreciate your donations towards the maintenance of the park, and please visit and support businesses in the local area.

THINGS TO DO
The site is located centrally to walks, fishing, The Tin Dragon Interpretation Centre & Cafe, awesome mountain bike trails, art and crafts, and quirky gift shops.Canoeing and fishing can be enjoyed on the nearby Cascade Dam and the surrounding rivers.
