There are a total of 14 sites at this location. The location is suitable for Caravans, Camper Trailers, Camping beside my vehicle, and Tents.
Imagine spending the day splashing about in secluded waterholes dotted along a river. Hike through the bush looking for brush-trailed rock wallabies, looking out onto a gorgeous waterfall and picnicking to the sound of various birdcalls. At the end of the day, enjoy the fact that you won’t have to get in the car and drive anywhere else.
SITE ACCESS
Unsealed road/trail – 2WD vehicles – All weather.
On entering Boonoo Boonoo National Park for Cypress-pine campground: Follow Boonoo Boonoo Falls Road and the campground is on the left-hand side and is well-signposted.
Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping $10 per adult per night. $5 per child per night.
Bookings are not taken for this campsite. A self-registration system applies on arrival at the park. This will involve the visitor reading the information/interpretation board, completing their booking details on an envelope and placing the correct money inside.
This campground is suitable for group bookings.
It can be a busy place during school holidays, so camping sites might be limited.
Some National Parks require Fees to Enter the Park. For full details see PASSES & FEES.

FACILITIES
Amenities block, Gas/electric barbecues (free), Wood barbecues, Wood barbecues (firewood supplied), Drinking water is available at this campground, but will need to be treated before drinking, so it’s a good idea to bring your own supply. Picnic tables, Non-flush toilets.
RULES
Check the weather before you set out as the road to Boonoo Boonoo Falls can become flooded during heavy rains.
Rubbish bins are not available, so please take your rubbish with you when leaving.
There may be firewood at this campground, but it’s a good idea to bring your own supply.
This is a remote campground, so please make sure you arrive well-prepared.
