Cudlee Creek Restaurant Tavern and Caravan Park (CP)

This campground is on some 20 acres adjacent the River Torrens. They have a large number of powered camp sites and some fantastic unpowered campsites for those just wanting a quiet spot away from the main area of the park. Their amenities block and coin operated laundry have recently been refurbished offering piping hot water in the showers made possible by solar heated hot water service. There is also a children’s playground in the pet-friendly park. Their former Kiosk has been converted into a Camp Kitchen for those travelling with the barest of essentials with refrigeration, cooking and dining area all undercover.

The Cudlee Creek Restaurant, Tavern and Caravan Park is a many faceted business built on old fashioned service and above all a “family friendly” Tavern. Historically the Tavern has only been licensed since 1980 but always known as a picnic ground dating back to the early 1900’s, which surprisingly a large proportion of South Australians have a fond memory of visiting.

HOW TO GET THERE
The site is only 30 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. Follow Wakefield Street to City Ring Route/Dequetteville Terrace/A21 and at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto City Ring Route/Dequetteville Terrace/A21. Take Payneham Road to Lower N E Road/A11 in Felixstow, follow Lower N E Road/A11 to Paracombe Road, continue on Paracombe Road to Gorge Road and turn left onto Gorge Road.

SITE ACCESS
Along Gorge Road, you’ll see their signpost leading you to the caravan park right before the restaurant. Upon entering the pathway, you’ll turn right going to the site.
