Credo Homestead Campground – Proposed Credo Conservation Park (CG)

The Credo Homestead site offers bush camping with permission from the caretakers. It also offers several rooms in the old shearer’s quarters.

SITE ACCESS
75km northwest of Coolgardie. The homestead entrance is located along Coolgardie North Road. There are two options, the first is via the historic Ora Banda Hotel, along Goldfields Highway then onto the Broadarrow – Ora Banda Road. Alternatively, take Coolgardie North Road directly from Coolgardie.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park, there should be signs to the actual campgrounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping Fees are from $8/adult per night, $6/concession card holder per night, $3/child per night (over 5 and under 16 years)

Shearers Quarters Fees are from $15/adult per night, $9/concession card holder per night, $3/child per night (over 5 and under 16 years)

THINGS TO DO
In the past, Credo was run as a pastoral lease but due to dry conditions, the property was restocked. The purchase of Credo in 2007 is consistent with Government policy commitments to the establishment of a comprehensive, adequate, and representative conservation reserve system.
Credo covers about 202,161ha. It surrounds the Rowles Lagoon Conservation Park and the Clear and Muddy Lakes Nature Reserve. Together, these two reserves include most, but not all, of the open waters or dry lakebeds and peripheral vegetation of the Rowles Lagoon system of wetlands.

GUIDELINES
Very few campgrounds have waste bins – take all waste with you when you leave.
