Crawford River campground is a large well-grassed level area offering free camp with toilets available. The pet-friendly site is accessible to motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, and big rigs with areas suitable for tents, however, it is near the road.

Swimming is permitted in the river and a jetty is also available. Note that vehicles can get bogged on the grounds if the conditions are wet.
