The facilities they have also vary from park to park.Cool Waters Holiday Park is a four star picturesque caravan park in a quiet and convenient area of Cairns. It is centrally located 7 minutes drive from Cairns City and is handy to all tourist and city attractions. Kuranda Rail Freshwater Station is only 2 minutes drive and we are on the same road as the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

We are proud to offer guests an enjoyable stay in our cabins and caravan sites in a unique tropical setting with a natural clear freshwater creek bordering most of the park. Wildlife is abundant – mountain trout, turtles, colourful birds set against the backdrop of magnificent mountains.

We are fortunate to have the benefit of our caravan park entrance being on a major road but the park itself, in particular the campground, is situated on the creek well removed from any road noise.

With huge trees that are hundreds of years old, towering palm trees as well as newly landscaped garden beds designed for privacy, Cool Waters Holiday Park can offer shade and serenity.
