This campground consists of about 27 bush campsites available along the Murray River. Suitable for a full range camping from tents to caravans, however, since there is limited facilities, it is best suited to self-sufficient style camping. Access may be dependent on weather and river levels. You can walk your dog in this park providing it remains under your control on a lead.

THINGS TO DO
Explore Chowilla Game Reserve and Regional Reserve along the walking trails that wind through great stands of the majestic river red gum and the hardy black box. Discover the peaceful waterways of the River Murray by canoe and observe the diverse birdlife. The Murray River is an Australian icon. More than a hundred years ago, paddle steamers used to venture up and down the length of the river, transporting agricultural produce to and from riverside townships. These days, you can enjoy the waters and surrounding wilderness by paddling your canoe through the serene backwaters or exploring the many walking trails that wind themselves through the parks. The abundant birdlife provides a perfect addition to the region’s tranquil setting.
