Chinchilla Tourist Park (CP)

Chinchilla Tourist Park is a modern cabin and caravan park. There are 70 deluxe cabins, and 35 powered caravan sites and 6 un- powered  tent sites.

The caravan sites are all flat and level with a concrete pad beside them. Each site has its own power box with an outlet for free Wi-fi and Foxtel (Cable Provided). There are 2 large modern amenity blocks 2 camp kitchens, 2 dump points and 2 laundries.

There is a pool, gym and restaurant which provides all you can eat meals seven nights a week excluding Saturday nights. Breakfast is also served daily.  To the rear of the park is a lovely park area to walk around or just sit and relax, which also has BBQ facilities. Pets are welcome and can enjoy running around in the park setting. There is also a fenced dam with yabbies.

We also offer gas refills and a complementary ice dispenser unit.

HOW TO GET THERE
Chinchilla is located on the Warrego Highway, between Miles & Dalby.  Easiest access is Via Carmichael Street, approximately 3km East of Town.  From Carmichael Street, turn right into Zellar Street, and the entrance is on your left.

SITE ACCESS
Site access is wide and there is an area to pull up to the left and directly in front of the reception office where you can check in and be shown to your preferred site.

THINGS TO DO
Known as the Watermelon Capital of Australia, Chinchilla holds a bi-annual Mellon Festival in February of each year.  There is also the local Historical Museum and White Gums Art Gallery.
