Chinchilla Rubern Lagoons Koala Tourist Park (CP)

Rubern Lagoons Campgrounds is 2km S from the CDB, at the end of Gaske Lane. The Showgrounds is on your left and you can see the 300-meter large white archway. In it is a hidden gem, just opened in April 2021 and we promise you that the place is amazing.

The dog-friendly grounds are a camper’s delight. Very well planned to drive through & out for the longest of RVs / caravans towing a car, onto your very own private driveways, with a green lawn beside you.

The ambiance of the street lighting at night, all around the park, will soothe your souls, while you sit beside a fire, sipping wine or a cold beer.

The water wraps around, all campers & is peaceful & tranquil, the 10-meter deck over the lagoons gives it a nice charm to sit & watch the wildlife or the children or the really big kids, having fun in the free paddle boats, kayaks, canoes or row the very small tiny around the large lagoons.

Koalas are around the park, you just have to look for them.

Shelley (manager Owner) welcomes instant books but appreciates it if you can ring ahead.  Visitors are just starting to discover our new camper’s paradise hidden in Chinchilla. No deposits, just pay when you arrive.

FEES & BOOKING
Costs are $25/powered site for two any extra people over 4 years $10 PN; $20 for an unpowered site for two & $10 per extra person. Go completely bush for $15 on the opposite side of the lagoons, but you are to be completely self-contained, toilets, etc of your own, but the boats are free as well.
