Caroona Creek Conservation Park lies in the area where the rolling hills of the Mount Lofty Ranges disappear and the more rugged Flinders Ranges start. One can enjoy the view from these hills looking east. The camping site is a cleared, flat area with a few Mallee trees. If shelter is needed, there is an old shed available. There are no facilities here but water is available in some of the shelters nearby as it is intended for hikers.

HOW TO GET THERE
It is located 44.4km from Burra. Head northeast on Barrier Highway.  Turn right onto Mount Bryan East Road, just north of Mount Bryan township.  Mount Bryan East Road turns slightly right and becomes Dares Hill Summit Road.

FEES & BOOKINGS
There are no fees for camping here and bookings are not required.

THINGS TO DO
Some of the activities that you can do include taking pictures of the amazing view of hills, enjoy the Heysen Trail or The Coalface Experience.
