This help-out opportunity is organised via Outback Links. It is a great opportunity to Help Out someone in the Buchan area. In return, you will be provided with a place to park your RV at no cost. In some cases, but not all, facilities including power and water may be available. This will be confirmed upon application.
Activities: Be a part of a team in helping fire affected properties to rebuild after the devastating 2019 bushfires. You will make a great impact on the lives of people who experienced a deep tragedy by helping 3 different properties with tasks such as:
- Removing damaged fence lines,
- Slashing paddocks,
- Blackberry spraying,
- Clearing/tidying up around the homestead paddock, and
- Working in the gardens to build vegetable patches.
This Group Trip will be led by our brilliant Bush Chaplain Peter Harvey and 10 volunteers we seek to assist. Bring your own accommodation. Must be self-sufficient with meals.
