Camp near the peaceful lake.
Bronte Lagoon Campground offers a free campground with a maximum stay of 7 days. There are two small areas on each side of the dam wall; a new (2019) toilet is located at the boat ramp (Northern side). The pet-friendly site is accessible to motorhomes, caravans, and camper trailers with areas suitable for tents.
HOW TO GET THERE
From the South travel 1.8km on the Lyell Highway past the junction with the C173, Victoria Valley Road, then turn left into Bronte Lagoon Road, the campground is 2.5km on the left, both before and after the Boat Ramp and dam. The GPS location below is after the dam where there is a little more space.
From the North/West Bronte Lagoon Road is only 300m after the Marlborough Highway (B11) junction on the right.
