I stayed here about 15 years ago and it was great easy access open and green with good facilities,so when i decided to stay again i thought no problem and booked and payed on line, but what a surprise when i got there the rangers have gone out of there way to make it a place NOT to stay at, the speed bumps where so bad one was as wide as it was high and there is no way a normal car can get up the goat track and if you do make it up there the whole place is over grown the is no sun light just a pale shadowed mirk the campsites are just like a gravel pit and the previous facilities are gone replaced with 2 toilets and one sink ,needless to say i did not stay,in my many years of travel i have noticed especially with national parks deliberate attempts to stop people using them by making them unusable and , if you ask why they say that is the way they are meant to be…….. well you decide
