Bluewater Caravan Park is a pet friendly park set amongst 55 acres of native bushland and landscaped gardens and boasts the largest sites in North Queensland. The park is just 20 minutes north of the Townsville CBD.  It is the ideal location to base yourself for day trips to local sandy beaches, Paluma and Girringun National Parks, and magnificent Magnetic Island.

Accommodation options include fully self-contained studio rooms and tourist cabins, large unpowered and powered sites with some offering the convenience of an ensuite. Most of the sites are spacious enough to accommodate even the largest of RVs & buses.

Facilities include a swimming pool, a fully equipped camp kitchen with free gas BBQ, and fire pit. The kiosk offers cold drinks, milk, and ice as well as a free book exchange. The three amenities blocks have coin-operated laundries.  An easy access dump point is located within the park.

HOW TO GET THERE
27 klms north of Townsville on the Bruce Highway. Travellers coming from the south need to be in the fast lane to access the turning lane into the park which is on the right just as the overtaking lane is ending.

SITE ACCESS
The park is surrounded by a white fence and well signed, the office is visible from the road.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Bookings are not required.
Unpowered camping sites are from $23/night for 2 people; Powered sites are from $33/night for 2 people. Ensuite Sites are from $35/night.
